Is it a month for celebrations? How can we celebrate when the deforestation of our <strong>Atlantic Forest<\/strong> has increased by <strong>2% compared to 2024<\/strong>, according to <strong>MapBiomas<\/strong> data?  <\/p>\n\n<p>What can we celebrate when the number of fires in our <strong>Caatinga<\/strong> has increased compared to the previous year? The environmental dialog has improved under the new <strong>Lula<\/strong> government, but <strong>the challenges of protecting our forests remain<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Today, we are talking about <strong>forest protection<\/strong>, but also about possible ways, especially in cities, to protect forests by creating solutions that nourish and <strong>restore nature<\/strong>. We need to unite agroecology and forest protection to guarantee a future. Shall we talk about <strong>agroforestry<\/strong>?  <\/p>\n\n<p>That&#8217;s what we&#8217;re talking about now with <strong>Tiago Jatob\u00e1<\/strong>! He works with <strong>urban and rural pruning<\/strong>, <strong>agroforestry management<\/strong>, <strong>agroecological ATER<\/strong> and <strong>seed collection<\/strong>.
