December 10<\/strong> is the day of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights<\/strong>, a date to reflect on our rights, such as access to water<\/strong>, land<\/strong> and food in quantity and quality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

And those of us who talk about agroecology<\/strong>, who defend free planting<\/em>, free of poisons, pesticides and violence, with land for decent planting, must always remember: the fight for human rights is also the fight for agroecology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Without human rights, there is no room for family farming<\/strong> and agroecology<\/strong>. That’s why today we’re talking about these rights, this date, this declaration. <\/p>\n\n

And we talk about agroecology as a struggle for human rights. To discuss this very important topic, we invited Elisabeth Cardoso<\/strong>, agroecological agronomist, master in agroecology, black, feminist and human rights defender, to Cantos<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n
