It is in this atmosphere of festivities and carnivals, but also thinking about an intensely political and electoral<\/strong> year, marked by debates on the environment<\/strong>, that we ask: who holds the banner of nature?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

We are talking about a future of fighting for climate justice<\/strong>, anti-racism<\/strong>, listening to<\/strong> and strengthening community networks<\/strong> – and, why not, with agroecology<\/strong> at the center of this path.<\/p>\n\n

Agroecology<\/strong> is much more than a way of growing crops. It’s a way of living<\/strong>, organizing<\/strong> and fighting politically<\/strong>. Agroecology is what we fight for<\/strong>.But who will hold the banner of nature<\/strong> in 2026<\/strong>? <\/p>\n\n

It’s about this struggle, about this banner<\/strong>, that we’re going to talk about here today. Carlos Magno<\/strong>, Social Mobilization Coordinator at Centro Sabi\u00e1<\/strong>, holds a Master’s degree in Agroecology and Sustainable Rural Development<\/strong> and is the focal point of the Semi-Arid Platform in Latin America<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
