Mental Health and Yellow September | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
Before the month ends, Cantos do Sabiá is here to talk about mental health and Yellow September.
In 2003, the WHO – World Health Organization – declared September 10 World Suicide Prevention Day. Yellow in attention, in vigilance. In memory of the young man who committed suicide, but who ended up bringing about this renewal – a whole movement – so that we can observe issues of the mind with more care, attention and affection. Suicide prevention.
We’re in the final stretch of Yellow September! A whole month dedicated to creating conversations that show paths of hope, unity and attention – for those who live with conflicts in their minds. Whether it’s an elderly person, a young person… all of us.
It’s time to put down roots to strengthen the debate, remove the taboo and talk about mental health, youth and Yellow September. Shall we have a chat? Joining us for the chat is psychologist Edna Granja – a psychoanalyst with an interest and background in Feminisms, Perinatality and Parenthood. She has a master’s degree in Psychology and a PhD in Collective Health.
Cantos do Sabiá is the Sabiá Center Podcast! Every week we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
