No agroecology with LGBTphobia! | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Radio host and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
No agroecology with LGBTphobia! And it is this banner of resistance that Cantos is raising this week, which closes LGBTQIAPN+ pride month on June 28th.
It’s a key month for movements to discuss gender, identity and experiences! It’s LGBTQIAPN+ pride month, a month that raises this discussion that needs to be present in agroecology, in the city… But also in the countryside.
Agroecology is biodiverse and also diverse. It needs to be aligned with the struggles for gender diversity, identity, race, equity and equality. You already know: With LGBTphobia, there is no agroecology.
But where do these agendas meet? That’s what we’re talking about today with activist and popular educator Ciro Henrique! Ciro is a human rights activist and social organizer in the Peripheral Women and LGBT+ Collective. Co-creator of the Sementes Periféricas project and law student.
Cantos do Sabiá is the Centro Sabiá’s Podcast! Weekly we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and in the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
