Agroecology transforms realities? | Real Food
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
What if agroecology were the city’s project for the future? With community gardens, agroecological markets… A city that thinks about the future! But not just that fanciful, ultra-technological future. A possible future! A future that also delves into our past.
It’s not enough to imagine this future. You have to plant in order to harvest. But before all that, what is agroecology?
That’s what Comida de Verdade is discussing this week! But we’re not alone: In a special program celebrating the 45th anniversary of Rádio Universitária FM, the program Comida de Verdade was invited to share a table with the program Realidades, to discuss these paths of agroecology together! Today’s special is Real Food for Transforming Realities!
And joining us for this chat is the technical-pedagogical coordinator of the Sabiá Center, Aniérica Almeida! Aniérica is a specialist in food security, from the perspective of coexistence with the semi-arid region and agroecology. She has a master’s degree in Rural Extension and Local Development. Also at our table, the technical advisor – Simone Arimatéia, Agroecologist, Technical Advisor in Urban Agriculture for the Sabiá Center. PMDPro certified.
Comida de Verdade is your Saturday program to talk about food and agroecology, valuing our markets and local culture. Every Saturday at 10 . 30am on Rádio Universitária 99.9 FM and rebroadcast on Rádio Universitária Paulo Freire 820 AM – Podcast format on Spotify from the Sabiá Center! https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
