João Lucas França – Radio host and communicator for the Sabiá Center.

This week’s Sabiá Corner talks about an essential date for the debate on public health, access to health, and especially women’s health! That is why the Centro Sabiá is talking about May 28th, the international day of fight for women’s health .

This date serves to bring attention to the various health problems, common in women’s lives, such as breast cancer, endometriosis, cervical cancer, fibromyalgia… But also to talk about humanization in the medical treatment of women.

Health also goes well beyond hospitals, visible diseases… It’s about quality of life! So, what is the role of agroecology in women’s health? It’s about this and much more that we talked with Helena Tenderini! Helena is a midwife, poet, educator, researcher and anthropologist.

Cantos do Sabiá is the Centro Sabiá’s Podcast! Weekly we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and in the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
