Protagonists of the Future: Agroecological Youth | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Radio host and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
Our podcast kicks off the month of April by talking about the young people who are not only the future of the country, but also the heirs of the world and the world’s struggles! Today we talk about youth and agroecology, the protagonists of the future.
The organization of young people in the countryside has a fundamental role to play, not only in building this future that we imagine so much, but also in guaranteeing a sustainable countryside that allows them to live, coexist and create a life without having to leave it.
We talk about young people because once they organize themselves, join groups, in communities, in agroecology and agriculture, there are also opportunities to develop politics, opinions and change.
Much of this change comes from agroecology with young people, and the Sabiá Center is very proud to also contribute to building this future. Collectively! Together, together. Shall we talk about this future?
To talk about the here and now, but also to think about the future, who participate in the Cantos do Sabiá young women who are multipliers for agroecology, Felicia Panta, Bachelor in Biological Sciences and entrepreneurial farmer, Zípora Lima, an agricultural technician from IFPE, and also an agroecology activist, Janaína Ferraz! She is a youth advisor for the Sabiá Center.
Cantos do Sabiá is the Centro Sabiá’s Podcast! Weekly we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and in the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
