Agriculture to face the climate crisis | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
The world is warming up faster and faster. The temperatures of a decade ago are no longer the same as they are today, and research has already predicted these events. The reports of the IPCC, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, surveys of forests, MAPBiomas… Everything is changing. But food production, the way we interact with the soil, animals and production, remain the same?
The bill no longer closes. High soil exploitation, deforestation and production with pesticides are costing lives, nature, biodiversity and our future. It’s time to promote agriculture that stands up to climate change. Agriculture for the future!
What is agriculture? Sandra Paula Bonetti takes part in Cantos to talk about this important topic! Sandra is a family farmer, trade unionist and Environment Secretary at the National Confederation of Agricultural Workers – CONTAG. She is a popular educator with a degree in Rural Education with a major in Agricultural Sciences.
Cantos do Sabiá is the Sabiá Center Podcast! Every week we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
