Do you have space for green areas? | Real Food
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
In this week’s Comida de Verdade, we discuss: do you have room for green area?
In a dense capital like Recife, looking after and caring for greenery is a challenge. A challenge that needs to be faced in the face of climate change, global warming and the advance of the seas. As Chico Science used to say: “The city doesn’t stop, the city only grows”. We need to understand that growth often also means destruction.
We don’t live in a planned city. That’s why fighting for green areas needs to be a collective struggle – before the next rain comes, before it’s too late.
Shall we talk about it? Aldo Sales, zootechnician, specialist in ecology and environmental management, master in livestock innovations and professor of the postgraduate program in environmental technologies at the Pernambuco Institute of Technology, joins us for this chat.
