Latin American exchange on climate solutions | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.
We’ve been talking about this for some time: we need to listen to the voices of those who already have experience in dealing with and adapting to climates! We need to listen to those who already live in the semi-arid regions.
That’s why the Sabiá Center is holding the Latin American Exchange on Climate Solutions!
An exchange that lasts 12 days in the semi-arid region, with representatives from three Latin American countries, who come to visit rural communities and learn more about living in the semi-arid region.
Between October 28 and November 8, 11 representatives from El Salvador, Guatemala and Colombia will be in Pernambuco and Paraíba taking part in an international exchange program.
The youth of the Borborema Hub are the ones who help us think of these solutions! We spoke to Edson Galdino – who is part of the executive coordination of the Borborema Pole youth movement and the Pole’s executive coordination.
Also with Adailma Ezequiel – a young experimental farmer, trade union activist, member of the executive and political coordination of the Borborema Pole. They are members of the ASA-PB Youth Network.
Cantos do Sabiá is the Sabiá Center Podcast! Every week we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
