Sabiá Center participates in COP 28
On Sunday morning (03), Carlos Magno Morais, coordinator of Social Mobilization at Centro Sabiá, executive director of the Brazilian Association of NGOs (ABONG) and member of the Brazilian Semi-Arid Articulation (ASA) and the Governance Panel of the Semi-Arid Platform Latin America, will be speaking about the Caatinga biome on the panel Climate Justice and the Escazú Agreement: perspectives for the protection of indigenous people, communities and defenders in the Amazon, Pantanal and Caatinga.
COP 28 is the United Nations Climate Change Conference that discusses the effects of climate change and its problems around the world. It takes place between November 30 and December 12 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
