Climate change, rain and heat in Recife! Why is that? Why is it so hot? Today we see Recife at the center of climate change discussions, with an alarming fact: we are among the cities most vulnerable to climate change! And these are increasingly extreme climate changes. In the midst of a cracking sun and rains that destroy so much of our cities… What to do?

Discussing this is the president of APAC (Pernambuco Water and Climate Agency) – Suzana Montenegro! She is a member of ABRHidro (Brazilian Water Resources Association); a Civil Engineer and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology in Wallingford.
