Our country has faced significant economic challenges, and many workers have felt the impacts of this situation. For many, entrepreneurship has emerged as an advantageous alternative, and this is no different in family farming; it has even emerged as an answer to the questions that haunt young people living in the countryside.
For a long time, it was believed that the countryside didn’t offer enough opportunities for young people to stay. One of the main reasons for the rural exodus was the difficulty of generating income to support oneself in that environment. Entrepreneurship has thus become an opportunity to stay in the countryside in a dignified way. Today, many young people excel in marketing their products, introducing new technologies into production and, above all, securing their place in the market.
Family farming fairs play a fundamental role, as they are fair marketing spaces, a valuable support for these young entrepreneurs. The fairs are spread throughout the state, promoting food sovereignty and, above all, creating a suitable space for the sale of youth products. In addition, young people from the countryside have shown that innovation is essential, using various marketing strategies and social networks to promote their sales.
For Gildo José, a young farmer and entrepreneur, the opportunity to market his produce is fundamental to guaranteeing his income. He and his partner, Tati Faustino, are active in the Jataúba Family Farming Fair and are always looking to take part in regional events that offer spaces to market the products they benefit from. Gildo also emphasizes the importance of networking with other farmers, expanding the variety of products available at the events they attend.
This is just one of many successful experiences, which allows us to state with certainty that rural entrepreneurship is not just a passing trend, but a vital force that is strengthening family farming and acting as a source of innovation and renewal. This is a way of highlighting the hard and dedicated work of young people who want to stay in the countryside, ensuring that no opportunity is overlooked or wasted.
Nothing found.
