Planting lives | Cantos do Sabiá
João Lucas França – Broadcaster and communicator for the Sabiá Center.

This July, the Sabiá Center celebrates 32 years of struggle. A struggle for territory, for agroecology, for real food. For narratives. A struggle that communicates with farming families and defends food sovereignty!
In 1993, the Sabiá Center was already talking about latifundia, agrarian reform and diversified food production. It spoke of the importance of family farmers, so that food could reach the tables of all of Brazil. But what is this struggle?
What’s changing? What are the challenges of planting lives for a better world, 32 years on? We talk about and look back on these three decades with some testimonies today from so many people who have passed and will pass through the Sabiá nest. We’re talking about transformation! 32 years, planting more lives for a better world.

Cantos do Sabiá is the Sabiá Center Podcast! Every week we discuss agroecology, sustainability and politics in the countryside and the city! The podcast goes live every Monday, with the complete interview edition that originally made up the Center’s radio program. https://spoti.fi/31VtUj5
